I'm looking for old postcards of Pacific Coast lighthouses for my new book--Field Guide to Pacific Coast Lighthouses (Voyageur Press). It will be out in November. Anyone with old cards of CA, OR, WA, AK, or HI lighthouses who is willing to scan them at 300dpi for me, please make contact. I'll gladly trade for the images. Thanks! Elinor DeWire

I have a postcard labeled Cape Foulweather Lighthouse confused , Oregon Published by Edw. H. Mitchell, San Francisco. I belive it is Yaquina Head Lighthouse.

Also have:
Point Pinos Lighthouse, Pacific Grove, California, photo by Robert A. Parker. On the back it says ...is open to public parties... laugh

Light House. Santa Cruz, California. Pacific Novelity Co., San Francisco

Pigeon Point Light House , Coast of California. Pacific Novelity San Francisco & Los Angeles

If you don't have these, I can scan and send to you.

Eric, I would love to have scans of these old postcards. Thank you for your generosity. I'll need 300dpi for publication. Plese send them one at a time, as I live in the boondocks and still have dialup. Takes forever to download big files. Thanks also for your compliment on Lighthouses of the South. It, along with Lighthouses of the Mid-Atlantic, won the Coast Guard Book Award for 2004-2005 in the category of Aids to Navigation. Nice! Thanks again for your kind offer. Elinor
