I just read Laura's comment about Round Island, MS, but the Round Island card I selected from Robin's stash yesterday is in MI. I'd like to see the one in MS, as it seems to have a nice base. Funny, I don't like the base of Cape Hatteras.

Way back when, I asked you about avatars. At that time it seemed like the messages came up with the various avatars showing, but I haven't seen them since. Why???

They are showing Ellie, it must be your computer or your profile. Check your profile preferences. There is a box you can check to hide avatars. If yours is checked - uncheck it and save. If thats not it then it might be some setting on your computer. Paul has been setting up avatars for a lot of people, he could do one for you, I'm sure.

I didn't see anyplace I could click in my profile so I looked at yours and didn't see any there either.

Postcards arrived on Tuesday and they will go back out tomorrow morning. The postcards were very nice but we were a little disappointed that there weren't any that we didn't already have. We have never done a robin before so we didn't know what to expect. We look forward to the second phase and hopefully we will find some that we haven't seen. We don't know much about the "Eagle" cards and did not see one in this batch. Not sure how many started out at the beginning but maybe one will make it to us in the second round.

Robin arrived and will be flying on its way to Colorado for a visit with Judy Newbloom. I took 3 cards: Nobska, Fire Island and a Delaware group pic and added a Gay Head, Little Sable and Hatteras cards.

Judy (Sunshine)- I sent the other Judy an email asking her to send the robin to you. She may be delayed sending it on, but just a few days. Then you send it to Tom, and Tom to me. As long as no one sends it back to me before the labels are gone I think we will be okay.

Judy, send me your address. I put Tom's label on the outside but could send it to you instead. You will have to send it to Tom once you get it. I took all ten cards and put ten more in. No eagles but I think they were all ready taken.

I received the package of postcards last night. I'll have it back in the mail late today if the postoffice is still open when I get off work.
Some interesting cards from the northwest. I took 5 and replaced with 5 with 3 bonus cards for the last ones on the list.

Just to let everyone know that I picked up the 2010 A1 robin today at the post office after having been out of town Monday and Tuesday. Will send the robin to Laura tomorrow. Some nice cards were included in the robin.

Robin A arrived today. 15 fantastic cards! Actually I think one started the trip...guess the reproduction antique postcard wasn't a big hit. Several cards from Uruguay! Robins 2A and 2b fly on Monday. Thank you everyone. We hit a few bumps, but the robins both made good time.

I have 20 Eagles, plus other cards in case I need to start another packet in the middle. I can't really start with more than 10 for each robin this time. What does everyone think about more cards for the next time around?
