Along time back when I first started collecting HL's, I think Paul posted a photo of all the Hatteras that HL made. And I thought, "How many of em do you have to have???" Well a few years later, I told my wife I was buying a CH2 and she asked, "Don't you already have one of Hatteras?"
"Yes ,, But it's a GLOW.......... this is the LE."

So here's my photo of my group of Hatteras. Thanks to Randy Kremer, who's posting some nice LE's at really nice prices... I've completed my North Carolina lighthouse group and grown my Hatteras group by one special LE Hatteras.

Thanks Randy!

What is "that" in the lower right corner of the above picture? It looks like a piece of HL ceramic water. Are my eyes deceiving me?

It's a piece of rock from the roadway made so they could move Hatteras on. We were there on opening day after the move.

Very cool! I recognize the back row as GLOW/LE/On the Move, and the one on the left in the front as the LLOM, but what is the one next to it? Is it the Spyglass? confused

Nice collection Medicman.
The good news to you but bad news to your wife is that there are more Harbour Lights Cape Hatteras to Collect.
They are:
1.The Thumbnail
2.The revised G.L.O.W. 401R
3.The ornament
4.Original Cape Hatteras Ch1
5.The new lighted Cape Hatteras that will probably be out soon.

Now how about the variations
1. 401 GAL (Great American lighthouses)
2. White tip CH-1 California
3. Green tip CH-1 Canadian
4.CH-2 Canadian Made with green felt
5.CH-2 Canadian Made with gray felt
6.CH-2 with white stripe over door

The nice thing about Harbour Lights that there is always more to Collect. Very few collectors have all of the above. What you have is enough to cover all the bases. Just letting you know you don’t have to stop collecting HL Hatteras, that there are still more out there.

You are quite welcome, Richard! Glad to see it arrived ok also! It also looks a whole lot better on display than sitting in a storage cabinet in my basement!

I don't collect the ornaments. And I doubt if I'll ever get a CH1. I didnt' make the early reunions so I don't have a thumbnail piece. And I don't have the revised GLOW version either.
Your right Daniel.... that's why I didn't say, "Here's the COMPLETE set.... "

But I'm tickled with what I got laugh
