Lonnie,

Harbour Lights Southern Belle Series = $1,675 or BUY IT NOW = $1,750

Harbour Lights New England Series = $1,475 or BUY IT NOW = $1,550

Harbour Lights Great Lakes Series = $900 or BUY IT NOW = $950

Harbour Lights "Original 17" + Two!! = $4,500 or BUY IT NOW = $5,250

Harbour Lights Lady Lightkeepers Series = $450 or BUY IT NOW = $500

TOTAL = $9,000
BUY IT NOW = $10,000

For someone just starting to collect Harbour Lights and assuming they just sold their house at a profit, I think it would be a great deal.

But I could be wrong. I errored in judgement relative to the GOLD SE Block Island also.

Bob,

Harbour Lights Great Lakes Stamp Series is the 6th auction. Remains to be seen if any of them go this time. . .

Sandy

You are offering some nice "combos", Sandy. I wish you the best on those auctions. The only problem I see is most serious collectors have many of those pieces already and may not be looking for duplicates. I wonder if you would get more action if you offered each piece separately.

Thanks for the good wishes guys. Getting queries as to selling individually, but I'm hoping someone looking to start their collection with the "real McCoys" and/or someone looking to gift their significant other with a good start to a collection will go for it/them. Took me what seemed forever to gather my collection that now numbers 230 LEs and 1 GLOW rogue.

Thought someone had serious interest in the Original 17 the last time I listed it and took them all out of storage for his look/see. We both got a chuckle out of the fact that I had three HL 102s in the same room at the same time--my two (white- and dark green-tipped) and one white-tipped one I'm selling!

Gotta' try. . .you'll never know otherwise.

Sandy,

I feel bad that your collection didn't sell this time around. It's probably a pain to do so, but you might consider posting the pieces individually. But I admire your attempt.

You never know until you try, Sandy. Those are some great HL's but the average collector cannot afford to purchase them all at once. Then there's the serious collectors but in most cases they already have a large part of what you are offering. Then, nobody really wants to pay what they are worth unless there is a very, very special piece they must absolutely have.

We need many new and more serious collectors to set a fire under the New Marketplace. There have been some fabulous pieces offered there at times for what I consider a reasonable price, but they are not selling. Unfortunately, eBay is teaching everyone to wait it out and eventually you'll get what you want at your price. Things aren't selling for what they are actually worth, but rather a much discounted price. That is what is keeping the secondary market down on its knees.

 Bob
