Hi! My name is Jessica Gordon. I live in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. The reason I am here is that ever since I started vacationing at Pemaquid Point, Maine I have fallen in love with lights. I recently found a retired Pemaquid Harbour Light. Yay! My love has grown to include all lights now, and I looking forward to sharing my love with other lighthouse lovers.

Let me be the first to give you a very warm welcome to the Collector Forums, Jessica! I say warm because, here on the east coast, it's a very chilly 19 degrees. I'll look forward to reading your posts in the future and hope you might share some photos of Pemaquid Point with all of us. Once again, welcome aboard! Bob

Welcome Jessica!
There is a great group of people here, so jump right in and make yourself at home!
Pemaquid is my favorite light in Maine and hope to get back and see again in the future! That is saying alot because that state has many beautiful lighthouses!
It was funny when we took our trip to the Northeast 3 years ago and told everyone at work where we were going. The same response from each of them was "Why are you going to Maine?" I guess it is our little secret!
I never get that response when we go to Florida!

Welcome Jessica I am also an ex-Pennsylvanian (Pittsburgh area). Now a Floridian. Where is Camp Hill? Is that West or Eastern Pa?

Hi Jess, I too grew up in Western PA in the Pittsburgh vicinity. After living in NC for 7 years and vacationing on the Outer Banks a couple of times in sight of Cape Hatteras, and now living in Michigan, which Has more lights than any other state, I've developed a passion for photographing the lights around the country. I'll be looking forward to seeing your photos in the contest!

Well, Jessica, you stumbled upon the best site for sharing your love of lighthouses. I live in Florida, but like the beacons all over the world. May this be the beginning of some great times in your love!

I know what you mean. Every time I go to Maine people ask why I'm going there. Originally posted by Randy Kremer: Welcome Jessica!

No, actually my first Harbour Lights were the two sets of seven spyglass lights. That was all it took. The obsession began at that point. Originally posted by DALE LAWRENCE: Welcome Jessica.

I actually had "Happy Birthday Jeff" put on my birthday cakes twice. I'm not related. If I was I would be calling him all the time asking for money for more Harbour Lights. Camp Hill is right outside of Harrisburg on the West Shore of the Susquehanna. Originally posted by Daniel: Welcome Jessica I am also an ex-Pennsylvanian (Pittsburgh area). Now a Floridian. Where is Camp Hill? Is that West or Eastern Pa?

Welcome Jessica, The information that you will get about HL's and lighthouses is unbelievable. When my wife and I vacationed in Maine a few years ago I fell in love with Nubble and my wife loved Pemaquid. Where do you stay when you visit?

A friend of ours owns a log cabin walking distance down the coast from the light. It's absolutely gorgeous.
