Wow, thank you so much for the wonderful welcome, everyone!
A little bit about me, hmmm, let's see. I live in rural Virginia with my husband and two kids (both boys, 3 and 4 years old). I've loved lighthouses for about 10 years, when my family began vacationing to North Carolina's Outer Banks. This past September I finally made my way to Cedar Island to see Cape Lookout. It was very windy that day, so my pictures aren't that great. I'd love to go back on one of the Open House days to get a closer look and climb it.
I don't have any questions right now, but I can't wait to look at everyone's pictures and read all the great lighthouse stories!
Oh, I do have one question, now that I think about it. How do I add an avatar?
