Thanks for the welcome, kory63. I am glad that you liked the photos. Hopefully I will have a few photos uploaded to Photobucket that show lighthouses in your state (from the trip that I just took).

That reminds me.....I was thinking of mentioning my Photobucket account on the forums. What is the policy on this? Is it allowed or considered a violation of forum rules?

Also, I have another question: How does one add an avatar? I tried to do so but it didn't seem to take.

Feel free to add a post to an older thread to 'bump' it back into view.

You get to have an Avatar after you've posted 50 times - making you an "official" Wacko.

You can provide links to the PhotoBucket account. We frown a bit on commercialism here so if you are posting a list primarily to 'sell' 16x20" prints, that's a bit of a 'no-no' but if you are sharing your photos of lighthouses, not a problem at all.

The first three were taken in the summer of 2008, the fourth pic was taken in the spring of 2008 and the last 4 were taken in the fall of 2003. Before I reveal the identities of the lighthouses, would anyone like to take a guess at them?

I love your photos.... please post more! We all enjoy lighthouse pictures. And don't worry about posting pictures of a lighthouse that someone has already posted as we love to see the different angles from which different people shoot from.

As for your Avatar I see that you already have 6 posts and you've only been a member for 1 day. So you are well on your way to getting that Avatar. All you need to do is have 50 posts and you can add your avatar.

Well, I am actually a closer neighbor than you might expect......even though I have lived in Tennessee for most of my life, I was born in Birmingham.

I think you have Umpqua instead of Cape Meares and Crescent City instead of Old Point Loma.
