Would be great if I could open it.
No matter what Harbour Lights sends me I always have trouble either receiving it or opening it!
I have all but given up calling them. It is a lost cause!

This is CRAZY!

For the love of all things holy, can someone please tell me why for a one page adobe PDF document is so large of a file size that it takes forever to download. PDF'ing is suppose to make a document smaller and more accessable to transfer over the internet...

Seriously, I would be glad to manipulate these images (make them smaller without comprimising the image quality too much), embed them in an adobe document, create the newsletter (text and images) and post it for Harbour Lights.

I am gracious and very appreciative that someone else is taking their time to create these and post them for us collectors, but why do we (those of us who download the newsletter) keep having difficulty each time a newsletter comes out?

I finally opened it only to find information that we all already know about, especially if you watch the forums, with hardly any pictures of the new upcoming pieces. I'm perplexed. Ok, I shut up now...... Sorry

For what it is, it doesn't NEED to be a PDF, it could be just an HTML page.

Thi statement is very true and I was wondering the same thing.

There really wasn't that much in it to really get enthused about but it is nice to receive early information.

Could not open the email either, using Windows NT at work. I just delete these when they do not open the first time.

Seriously, the email distribution is great. The only info. I really need is is an "email alert" with the following:
1) What is being announced for release
2) Can I see a pix online at HL.com
3) edition size or anything "special" about the piece
4) List price
5) When will it be available

A text email with this info. would be fine.

I don't need a pix or fancy graphic design. If I get email, I have internet access to Harbour Lights.com and can view all the information there, which is why there's a website in the first place.

A PDF file also sounds like a solution.
