Hi Derith, ... I have an Olympus 460. It isn't the latest model now but it was when Lorna bought it for me a year ago. It works well and is fairly easy to use.

I used it to take digital pics of the glossy prints I took at the NE Regional. I did have the digital camera with me when I went to CT but I decided to do the regular print film so I could mail pics to those folks who were in the pics.

After having my Olympus 460 for just about a year, I must say I've been satisfied with its simplicity and quality digital pics it yields. It cost around $400 a year ago but I would guess you could buy it now for the low three hundreds.

Digital cameras are fun when you're sending digital images over the computer. They are extremely cheap to operate (batteries) and you can easily erase pics you don't like. The only downside is the equipment you need to purchase if you want to print your pics.

Thanks for posting the photos. I had forgotten that you took those. Didn't someone take a shot of the six of us....correction, make that seven of of us! I don't want to leave out the "golden beauty"! I thought someone borrowed your camera and got a shot of Dave, Pat, Lorna, you, and Rachele and myself. Or did the glare from the shinning golden beauty wipe out the picture? LOL
