Harbour Lights will be exhibiting at the 2002 Spring International Collectibles Expo at Rosemont IL.

Here's information on the show:
http://www.krause.com/shows/collectibleshow/rosemont.html

Maybe we can set up a tour up the coast of Wisconsin after the show or up the coast of Michigan.

Up one coast, take the car ferry across, and down the other side!

Mini-reunion in Rosemont.......

We'll be there, but don't know if I'll have extra vacation available for tour before or after.

I haven't seen any lights in Michigan as of yet. This might be a good way to get me back out in that area.

As far as the lights on the Wisconsin coast go, I saw 20 of them from Kenosha up to Sturgeon Bay this summer including a few out on Lake Winnebago. Took 2 days with the help of a very helpful guide book - Wisconsin Lighthouses by Ken and Barb Wardius. Great book if you like the kind that gives you great driving directions. It was a long 2 days, but a fun challenge to get them all in before heading on to a scientific conference in Madison.

I'd love to get back out there next year. I'll have to keep my eyes on the lookout for a "mini-reunion" since I didn't make Baltimore.

Sounds interesting John. Lighthousing on the front and/or back end could make the cost of travel more appealing.
And I've heard there might be a few lights to see in that area? (tic) LOL Right Heather's Dad? I like your idea Dave!

MJ and I have never been to this part of the country and feel that it would be a great time. We are checking into our schedules to see if this is possible. I hope so.

I have never stayed in the Mid-west other than to over night in a hotel by O'Hare. I think this would be a great time to join in. I'm open for any tours.

For the Navy Pier show this past June we had almost 60 wackos at the Friday evening Pizza feast. I think that with a little effort, we can easily break 100 for Rosemont this next June and have our own little wacko reunion. Any bus tours would just be frosting on the cake

Sounds like a great trip. One thing good about the great lakes is that the lights are much closer to each other than on the west coast. Di and I just went from Michigan City to Manistee. Saw 17 lights in 2 days. What a great trip. We thought about taking the ferry across lake Michigan but it was real expensive. Hope I can schedule this trip into my travels.

What a great idea! We could incorporate visiting with friends we made at the Reunion, visiting new lighthouses we haven't seen and visiting family. Count Hunt and me in on the fun and possible tours. (I am sure John is just itching to plan another day long lighthouse extravaganza ). Any coast will do!

Hey Pat, ...If Hunt is a Count, does that make you Countess Pat? (LOL)!

We are definitely up for more bus tours. We were on all the extra Baltimore tours and we enjoyed them, and we enjoyed meeting new friends. If you plan it, "we'll come"

LOL...LOL...Bob, I am only a Countess if it comes with a deed to a Lighthouse on an Island somewhere warm... . Otherwise the Count stands for "Yep we'll join in the fun".

Krause has moved the show web pages to its' captive collect.com pages. There appears to be no way to access anything on the page, including their email addresses. Tried to register for the site (something I hate being forced to do) to see if that would free up some of the pages, but still no luck. Has anyone else tried to get updated show info and had better luck? I know the page used to work...

The page linked to takes you to a page on collect.com that talks about "Blades in Afghanistan". Still no show info, and won't let me go anywhere but around and around with all the garbage they want to sell you or get you to subscribe to. Won't let me sign in (or, after 5 minutes of the system trying I gave up on signing in). This new page is about 1000% degraded in quality from what they had last year.

Or, maybe they just don't want me to visit....

Yea I get to go to Rosemont this year!!!!
I have a convention in Columbus Ohio the week before that ends Thursday, so I will not get to do the bus trip but I will be there for the show and any Wacko get togethers. Where is everyone staying?
