I do understand the frustration of some collectors in regards to the change in the Hl805 Jordan Point Program.

105 HL805 Jordan Point replicas were redeemed by the Friday January 8,2010 deadline. The collectors, who participated in the original program, will receive several rewards!
1.) If you have an "auto-ship' edition # between 1-105, you will receive your "reserved" edition # - this was not part of the original plan. If you do not have a "reserved" edition # under edition #105, but redeemed for HL805 by January 8th, you will receive the lowest edition number available.
2.) Those who redeemed for Jordan Point VA by the original January 8, 2010 deadline will also participate in a drawing for "Among the rarest of them all" One of twelve AP458 West Quoddy ME GLOW that was never made. Remember only 108 will be in this drawing!
3.) Those who redeemed HL805 Jordan Point VA by the original January 8, 2010 deadline will participate in a second drawing for a GOLD Detroit River! This drawing is for those who redeemed for HL805 by the March 31st deadline and those who qualified in the original January 8th group. In other words everybody that gets a Jordan Point Light is in the Gold Detroit River drawing (both groups).

So why the extension?

I received a number of emails from collectors, who were upset about two issues;
1.) Collectors went to purchase HL725 2009 Christmas Replica Burnt Island ME, as one of the six and the Replica was "sold out". And
2.) Two of the eight replicas that were released were International replicas, many do not collect
Re: Point 2 - perhaps, we should have taken that into consideration at the onset of the Jordan Point Program. My apologies.

The lesson learned, think a program out more completely BEFORE, you release it to Collectors.

There is a new deadline for Collectors to redeem for HL805 Jordan Point VA, Wednesday, March 31, 2010!

Also, please be aware; Harbour Lights will be shipping HL805 Jordan Point VA directly to collectors, unless instructed otherwise; in addition HL805 will be shipped after the EOM February "auto-ship", of the 2010 Winter Release Replicas.

I like your plan! It will be interesting to see just how many of the collectors that made the suggestions to extend will actually redeem for their Jordan Points. Will the Gold Detroit River be for both the particpants from thye Jan 8th deadline and the new March 31st deadline. I didn't quite understand your last sentence "This drawng those who redeemed for HL805 by the March 31st deadline".

Some questions .....

When are the drawings for the AP458 & Gold Detriot River?

If we had an autoship in 2009 but no longer have one for 2010, do we still get our 2009 autoship number?

If we bought six pieces of the Summer 2009's and buy six pieces of the Winter 2010's (or a total of 12 between both releases), do we get two Jordan Points?

It might be possible on a case by case basis, but the 2010 autoships have been set and those who have dropped it have been deleted..

Yes, if you bought 6 2009 Summer lights and buy 6 2010 Winter releases by the March 31st deadline you get a 2nd Jordan Point Light and you do get two entries for the Gold Detroit River Light..

Interesting, needed, and unexpected changes--I guess HL didn't want to destroy 395 Jordan Points ??

In the future, Tony shouldn't forget the importance of a number to many HL collectors.
Glad to see flexibility @ HL and that decrees aren't set in stone when collector's protest.

I do realize that most Harbour Lights collectors have an attachment to the "reserved" autoship #.

however even now that the Jordan Point Program has been extended , I am still unable to promise 105 of the Collectors who redeem for HL805 their reserve #. Why? We have a Collector who has a "reserved" auto-ship # of 495. Unless there is a significant # of redemption between now and March 31st; Edition #495 will not be issued but destroyed!

I know the significance but I need to protect the integrity of the program!

Tony - I think that 95% of us understand what you are trying to do and say, and 100% of those 95% appreciate what you are doing. Sure, there will be some complaints from the 5%, but, that is the nature of the beast. You can never please all of the people at one time. The Forums collectors are just a small percentage of the HL collectors, and I'm sure make up only a small percentage of the collectors that redeemed by Jan 8th. The fact that you are giving all collectors another chance to get a Jordan Point is great and should end some of the complaining. The fact that some of us will be able to get a second piece is even better. Thanks again for listening to your collectors. The only question that I have remaining, about those of us fortunate to get another Jordan Point, is will at least 6 of the 8 new 2010 releases be at the dealers by the second cutoff date of March 31st?

By the way, the first half of the 2010 releases are great and I may even be forced into buying another cabinet if the second half of 2010 is equal to this group. Please pass this on to Harry when you talk to him.

We should be hearing something soon about these... don't ya think?

As I understand it, ALL of the new releases are due in around the 22nd of this month, barring any delays.

We should have all except for Fastnet Lenz in hand in the stores the first week of March is the latest info I have.
