Would someone kindly post directions to this event. I'll be staying in Courtyard Basking Ridge, but I'm not sure where to go from that point. Thanks for your help and consideration.

You basically go East on Valley road (which turns into Springfield Ave) from the Hotel , go through Gillette and turn left or North on River Rd to get to the Mt Carmel Club. If you get to Berkeley Heights main intersection at Plainfield Ave, you have gone 4 blocks to far...

Paul,

You left out one small part.

The hotel is on Martinsville Rd. You need to go about 1/2 mile North (away from I-78 and turn right on Valley Rd and River Rd is the first left after going over the Passaic River.

Here are the written directions from Lesley Hewitt at Harbour Lights:

Coming from New York City traveling West:
Take route 78 West to Exit 43 (Berkeley Heights New Providence Exit).
Bear right on Diamond Hill Road.
Follow for 1.5 miles make right on River Road (the first street past Berkeley Florist).
The Club is on the left.

Coming from the Pennsylvania Area, traveling East:
Take route 78 to exit 40.
Make a left turn at top of exit ramp onto Hillcrest Road.
Continue on through blinking light bearing SLIGHTLY left to end.
Turn right on Valley Road.
Follow Valley Road (name changes to Springfield) for 1.5 miles.
Turn left on River Road. (The first left past Berkeley Plaza)

Route 78 intersects route 287 and runs directly from Newark Airport.

John, coming from the Hotel is slightly different... the hotel is off of exit 33.....

John,

There is a slight problem with your directions.

It leaves out a part of them coming West on I-78.

Here are the original directions sent by Maureen back in December

Coming from NYC area traveling west:

Take route 78 West to Exit 43. (Berkeley Heights New Providence Exit). Bear right on Diamond Hill Road. Follow for 1.5 miles (road changes name to Union Ave.) to end. Make left on Springfield Ave. Continue for 1.5 miles make a right on River Road (the first street past Berkeley Florist) The Club is on the left.

Coming from the Penn. area traveling East:

Take route 78 to exit 40. Make a left at top of exit ramp onto Hillcrest Road. Continue on through blinking light baring SLIGHTY left to end. Make a right on Valley Road. Follow Valley (road changes name to Springfield) for 1.5 miles. Make a left on River Road. The first left past Berkeley Plaza.

Route 78 intersects route 287 and runs directly from Newark Airport

These should get people there. I checked them out on my Delorme Map & go program and on Mapquest, as well as much I could on the NJ map.
