For those who can't make it to Alpena and the lighthouse festival, Bill will be having two store events this weekend.. First will be Lighthouse Depot at 1PM on Saturday in Maine and then on Sunday at the Porcellana Limited Store in Hamilton Ohio (just North of Cincinnati) at 3PM until 6PM.
The Bradys are going to be at the Bill signing in Hamilton on Sunday otherwise we would be in Alpena, not only for Harry and the lighthouse, but Sue loves the Fall leaves on the trip to and from Alpena every year. But our Grand-daughters are going to be seeing Bill in Cincinnati so that's where we will be.
Onward to The Land of the Midnight Sun!

In addition to having a huge selection of Harbour Lights, don't forget about the free offer of the Jordan Point Lighthouse. We have quantities of the 2009 Summer Releases, the required figurines to purchase in order to get the free item. Also, Tony has assured me that should we sell out of any piece, I am to issue rainchecks, Harry will sign them, and Harbour Lights will ship them directly to you. Early indications are that these figurines will sell out. I have advanced purchases on the regional piece, Tybee Cut Range, event piece Duxberry Pier, and summer release Saginaw River Range. If you can't attend, call 989-595-3600 and reserve your figurine today.

Bringing the WAUGOSHANCE pins to the Lighthouse Festival this weekend! (Read the "Lighthouse Preservation" thread for more info). Each pin is $5.00, and all monies go to the WAUGOSHANCE Society for preservation of this lighthouse. Please help this fundraiser and receive a good looking pin!

Yes, the pins were at the festival, and Jerry, the owner of THE HURON LIGHTS GIFT SHOP, was kind to have the WAUGOSHANCE pin information at his booths. Have sent you an email Augie for purchase info on the pin. Thanks for your interest.

It was great to see Harry again at the Alpena Great Lakes Lighthouse Festival. I loved the thumbnails!! While we were at the festival we met Lorraine Parris who lived at the Old Presque Isle Lighthouse near Rogers City, MI. Lorraine told stories of her 24 years at the lighthouse. She is a doll and gave away free hugs.

Visited the 40 Mile Point lighthouse and climbed the tower on Friday and spotted Kat and Larry's name in the guest book, along with Tim Harrison's from Lighthouse Digest! Your visit with Harry must have been a short time before we got to the Huron Lights Gift Store! Sorry we missed ya!!!

I must say that the enthusism and camraderie was the best it has been in many years! Perhaps due to Tim Harrison. We have attended every one and this was a great time..and, Harry, Nelson and Terry were fabulous!
