My friend Darlene's grandson is 8 months old and is in St. Judes Hospital. He has a rare form of cancer called Histiocytosis. He is undergoing weekly Chemotheropy treatments and last night had his 3rd blood transfusion. Tyler is has never known life without pain and they are giving him Morphine for his pain.
Please keep him and his family in your prayers. Things look pretty bad but I beleive in the power of prayer and that miracle do happen.
I have a picture of him that was taken today. If I can figure out how to get it from my email to the forums I will post it. He sat up for a total of 2 minutes today and that is when they took the picture.

Thanks to some help from Dave here are pictures of Tyler  This picture was taken when he was 2 months old. They first thought he had a skin condition because of the rash on his chest. Shortly after the doctors started trying to find out what was causing the rash they found a knot behind his ear.  This is the picture taken in the hospital just a couple of days ago. The nurses gave him the stuffed animal for sitting up.

I thought I would give a little up date on Tyler. Early this past week he developed a bacterial infection. They found that his liver and spleen was enlarged. The doctors thought at first that it was caused by the infection, but tests showed it was the disease. Friday he was moved into the ICU, his heart rate was below 60, his larynx is paralyzed, and they found a hole in his heart. On top of all of this they have uped his chemo treatments.

My thoughts and prayers are with Tyler as I thankfully share a week's visit with my healthy granddaughter. St Judes is a great place and we financially support them every year.

He is in good hand at St. Judes. No matter how tough the times are, we still make a donation to St. Judes. They are wonderful.
We will continue to keep Tyler in our prayers.
