I haven't been on here in weeks. Very, very unusual for me. I thought I'd let you all know I'm still alive. I started an in-home business this winter selling vintage costume and fine jewelry on eBay and it's had me so busy, I didn't get out all winter to shoot! Fran's coming to see me in two weeks and we are going to lighthouse the entire Lower Peninsula so we'll be getting some stuff posted! Here is a shot of Michael I took in March for his 19 month images...hard to believe he's going to be two in August, and Mary's starting first grade!

Jen,
Cute photo! I can't believe how big Michael is. It's great to hear from you. I've been wondering what you have been up to. I'll be looking forward to lighthouse photos from you and Fran, though I'm still waiting for you to post some of those beautiful photos you took in Washington last fall. We are going back to Maine this summer and really will miss our almost annual visit to Washington State.

The wonderful lady who let me in at Alki emailed me this week and she's been begging to see them also. She and her husband are actually getting transferred from Alki to Sault St. Marie the end of June for three years, so I'll be able to catch up to her again, which is kind of cool! I *Promise* I will get some posted. I was actually back out there to see my sister for two weeks the first part of April and I didn't get out to shoot anything scenic once...sad, huh? She and I went thrift store shopping all week! Her husband just got redeployed to Iraq so that was part of the reason for the visit - moral support, etc. Plus, four kids five and under and trying to shoot doesn't work too well...We're tentatively planning on another fall trip and I will DEFINITELY be out shooting fall color...so glad we did Mount Rainier when we did last year after all the flood damage they got last November that forced closure of the park for 6 months...

Fran, we're going to spend two days by Baxter State Park. Then we have a beautiful vacation rental for a week in Cutler. We chose Cutler because they do puffin trips from there. Unfortunately the operator was booked, and we only are able to do one trip from there and have to travel south for the other one.
We'll be seeing parts of Maine that we didn't get to see in October.
I think we're about 20 miles or so from West Quoddy Head Lighthouse...
