Retirement Day is here for Mary Meyer (2beacons) of Holland, Mi!  After nearly 20 years of punching a time clock, Mary deserves some time to kick back and relax and savor all of her accomplishments during her accounting years!  Here's to years ahead of being your own boss (hear that Mr. M.) and sleeping in, your hubby, sons, grandsons, the cottage, cars, lighthousing, concerts, shopping, gardening, and whatever you want to do, or not to do! Whatever is ahead of you, count us in!!  YAHOO!!!  Herm and Mary

As my retirement gift to Mary I will not post the image taken several years ago of what happened to her when she enjoyed a few Mikes. Of course I don't feel bad about using it as the perpetual blackmail material . . . .

Congratulations on your retirement, Mary.. Sue joins you being retired next Tuesday.
The big news is I beat both of you by retiring last Wednesday. I got a buyout from my work and retired a year early.. Sue and I both wish you the best and join you in becoming a full-time Grandparent!

Have a great retirement! Plan a lot of trips, have fun around town and get all those projects done that you've been wanting to do. Then in 6 months you'll be wondering why you retired.

Thank you everyone for your best wishes. Today my first official work day of not getting up and driving the very slippery roads to work was great.
The company gave me a great send off last week Friday. One of the gifts that they gave me was a two night stay for Jeff and I at either Big Bay Point or Sand Hills Lighthouse in the great UP of Michigan.
Congratulations to both Sue and Paul Brady. I am sure they will keep very busy. Being a grandparent is a great thing.

Here's my new theme song that my granddaughter Julia turned me on to: I Never Go To Work click on the arrow to start and make sure your volume is on. A Oh no, no, I never go to work.
