It has been a long time since my last visit here. I just wanted to stop by, say hello, and let everyone know that all is well at the Shorkey house. I was very active here until the twins were born (Almost two years ago already -unbelieveable!)and then my life changed forever. It has been fantastic. In June we moved to a new home, a large four bedroom farm house with almost two acres of land for the kids to run around in. I still by a Harbour Light every now and then, but nothing like before. As time permits, I am working on turning the extra bedroom into my lighthouse room to display all of my lighthous and shipping memoribilia. The big lakeboats have become a recent passion of mine. I have been fortunate enough to have one of my photos published in the 2004 version of the "Know Your Ships" book series, and have had my photos published on PR materials for Canada Steamship Lines and Interlake Steamship Company. Anyway, I hope you and your families are all doing well. I was suprised at first to read through the fourms today and see all the talk about the demise of Harbour Lights as we once knew them, possible elmination of LE's, etc..., but then I look at the dealers around here and see that not much has moved off their shelves in some time. I'll leave you with a photo of the twins from this Christmas Emily & Ethan Take care everyone! -Todd

We can see what occupies your life these days. Cute kids and a new house. I presume that you're still a firefighter.

Darling kids Todd. Thanks for posting an update. Are you going to the 2005 HL Reunion since it's in your neck of the woods?

Todd, it is nice to learn of the growth of your family in many ways and that you are all doing well. Many of us have slowed down on the number of visits and posts we are able to make here. I do believe that even though we don't hear from everyone all the time (as in days gone by) we remain one large family. It is great to see how the twins have grown. Keep stopping by from time to time.
