Has anyone seen the e-bay auction for the 4th or 5th order Fresnel lens from Australia? The current bid is at $14,000. The auction # is 1490012717 if anyone wants to see it. (I'm not quite sure how to link e-bay to the CF).
I told my husband this would make a great Christmas gift for me!! Though, it looks a little too heavy for Santa to carry.

This was listed once before. If I recall correctly, it got as high as $16,100.00, but the reserve was not met. Oh, to have disposable income........

That's really pretty amazing. I'll have to drop my "subtle hint" (a print-out stuck to our refrigerator) to my wife, too. She's been looking for ideas for me...  I have to admit though, it took me a second or two to realize that this auction is for the REAL THING, and not the HL variety...
