Pictures and product information on the 2006 In-Store Event Exclusive and the 2006 Regional Event Exclusive has been posted at www.HarbourLights.com.

The In-Store Event Exclusive, El Morro PR will be available only from the 17 dealers holding events this year. You can pre-order one from the dealers now and until the date of their in-store event.

Dealer contact information is posted on the events listing at:
www.HarbourLights.com/events/

The Regional Event Exclusive, Admiralty Head WA, will be available from dealers that are supporting the Regional Events. That list will be posted later this month.
www.HarbourLights.com/events/regional.htm

Both In-Store and Regional Events will include the opportunities to win gold-plated pewter pieces through purchases.

Special thanks to Paul Brady for the fast turn-around on photos of these two pieces. The paint samples arrived from Harry this morning and the pictures are availble now to view via the above two links.

Just arrived, at New England Harbour Lights dealers this morning, are 2 GLOWS, Portland Breakwater and Edgartown. Expect them on the West Coast by next Wednesday. Limited editions, Fowey Rocks and Old Presque Isle are soon to follow.

Let me ask Lorie Roe to answer that. She was there earlier this year, I believe.

I just checked out both El Morro and Admiralty Head pieces, and I love them both! I've had the opportunity to see both of these lighthouses. We visited El Morro in 2002 after a cruise out of Puerto Rico. We got to the fort 10 minutes before it was closing, and they weren't letting people in. We were leaving the next day, and I had to beg the guard to let us in.

Lorie Roe posted a nice photo of El Morro earlier this year. Here's a link to a photo I took in 2002 on my very brief visit: http://home.earthlink.net/~twolfephotos1/images/El%20Morro.jpg

I have been to El Morro several times. It is run by the NPS. You can tour all through the fort but the lighthouse is not accessible to the public. The lighthouse is contained inside the fort so you can get "upclose and personal" for picture taking but not go inside the tower.

The fort is located in Old San Juan and is a nice walk up the hill from where the cruise ships dock.

Isn't it great to have one of your HL wishes granted? The Pharos of Alexandria was one for which I kept asking (of course, I knew it was in the works long before it came out so it was kind of anti-climatic). I love Point Abino and would love for it to be made into an LE. It was good to see in the latest issue of "Lighthouse Digest" that work continues there. There were many problems with public accessibility for a long time.

Tom,
You can go in the fort and up close to the lighthouse but not in it!

Tom,
First lets get Ireland over with.
Maybe a week early next year. PR has lots of lights other than El Morro to see!

I lived in PR for 5.5 years and visited El Morro many times. I fell in love with it on my first visit to the fort. I have wanted them to make this piece since I first started collecting Harbor Lights and found this Forum. I already have mine on order and have a print out posted on the wall next to my chair till I get the real thing. I thought we had lost this chance for a full size piece when they made the Little Light of El Morro. I'm glad I was wrong and this is another 1st class job by HL, well done, well done. laugh laugh laugh laugh

I may just get more than one to send to friends.

Chuck laugh eek
