After reviewing the Lighthouse Depot (LHD) website for new HL releases, I came up with a few new LLOMs that haven't been mentioned on the Collectors Forum and/or seen on the Harbour Lights website. Could these be new LLOMs?

LL389 Sand Point, MI *** (No LE pre-exists)
LL392 Two Harbors, MN
LL393 Lightship Portsmouth
LL394 Alki Point, WA

Also, the following are listed as new, however most of us have seen or have already purchased these. These are "re-released" from the earlier Pacific Stamp LLOM Set and the Cape Annie's Lighthouse exclusive (Chatham).

LL387 Five Fingers, AK
LL388 Umpqua River, OR
LL391 Chatham, MA

In conclusion, the "300" series is what LHD is using for their item number. Are these pieces suppose to be the "200" series? The last LLOM number in my inventory is LL291, however the last few pieces were Limited Exclusives with backstamps. So perhaps, the "regular released" LLOMs are now going to be in the "300s" and the remaining "200s" are future limited Exclusive LLOMs with backstamp 2008 and beyond. Here is something else to ponder for those who follow numbers and go crazy over this stuff, currently, LL390 or LL290, depending on how you look at it, is unknown.

Numbers, numbers, numbers,.... ughhh! tired

293 Middle Bay
294 Whaleback
295 Big Sable
296 Point Judith
297 East Brother
298 Great Captain
299 Hereford Inlet
I'm curious about these numbers. I checked my Whaleback (194) Point Judith (196) and Great Captain (198).

Where did 294 - 296 - and 298 suddenly come from. Are they a new release or what??? confused

Someone out there must have some info on these!

HELP!!!

Bert, according to the Collectors' Guide, you are right. I'm going to delete that post and check to see where my sources got their numbers. Thanks!

Although the Depot follows the HL number sequencing for LE's and GLOW's, their numbering is +100 on the LLOM's. I checked the most recent catalog and their numbers match the numbers I posted earlier. So, Bert, your 194, 196, and 198 are 294, 296 and 298 according to Lighthouse Depot's numbering.

Chris, I also checked some of my limited edition LLOM's against the catalog and that has confused me even more. Annie's LE Chatham is HL291. The one in the catalog is 391. If we follow the +100 sequence, that would be correct. However, the 291 is a limited edition. As I see it, the regular issue should have a different number. For instance, my Pottawatomie LE LLOM is HL300; in the catalog, it is 384 (or HL294)- two totally different numbers, as we would expect. My 2000 Thomas Point is HL129 and my Thomas Point LE LLOM is HL250 - a totally different number as it should be. So the question I have is why is the regular issue Chatham LLOM the same number as the LE LLOM? confused

LL389 Sand Point, MI

Good Thursday Morning!

Re: January 2008 LLOM; my oversight! They will go to the Field today and I'll send pictures to John for posting! I do not order AP'S for LLOM or AB and I DO NOT release paint samples for photography! Remember , we use the paint sample for quality control. Jason and Dave will not allow the paint sample to leave the building.

I am always mystified as to everyone's concern over the assignment of SKU #'s - it is a manual task and sometimes we miss a beat ie.: LL 291 Chatham MA.

I thought we were Collexctors? Errors are at least half the fun!

I told you all that this was going to drive you crazy.... it appears that the numbering of Harbour Lights is getting weirder and weirder as time goes on... Instead of numbers being set aside or allocated, it is like the first available number is being used for what ever.. (like the 2nd Collectors Forum Exclusive for example ..HL723)

Whether or not you follow the 200 or the 300 series for the LLOMs, the last two numbers of that particular piece does fit my inventory list, which currently ends with 291, however, as already mentioned, there would be NO numbering differance between a piece with a "backstamp" and a regular released LLOM.

I strongly believe that the four new LLOMs listed are indeed new releases that we will be seeing here in the new future.

Unless my information is wrong, I can see why you are confused. The numbers you have for particular pieces do not match what I have for those pieces.

LL284 Pottawatomie (LE with backstamp)
HL300 Indian River LSS, DE
LL129 Thomas Point (Both versions -2000 Regular and 2007 Backstamp)
HL250 Sankaty Head, MA
LL250 Yerba Buena, CA

From reading you post, I think you are mixing up the "HL" and "LL" prefix before the item number. Both a HL284 and LL284 exists but are two complete different lighthouse replicas from two different series.

Unless my information is wrong.....

The special, numbered LLs will have the exact same LL # as the general release version. They did not want to have two part numbers in the system for the same piece. Is generally a non-issue because the entire numbered run goes to one location, and with the exception of the Thomas Point piece, will precede the regular pieces by a number of months.

Pardon my ignorance ... but is there a list of LLOMs which are to be issued in 2008?

I am really not worried about the numbers (well that is me) but I would love to know which lighthouses are to be made into LLOMs.

Chris, you are right. In my haste, I said HL where I most definitely meant LL. Of course the HL precedes the regular size LE. Sorry to add to the confusion. frown AND shocked I was looking at the issue number and not the LL #. So, yes, the Pottawatomie and Thomas Point have the numbers you have. I am really losing it!!! nono What a way to start the year!! confused

I don't get too caught up on numbering, it just something to talk about when topics are slow.

I'm just curious as to what the 32 releases are for this year.
