My problem is that they brought out both at once. We just bought the 5th order on the secondary market as my Christmas gift from my wife.

Hmmmmm....I wonder what my mother-in-law is getting me for Christmas. I wonder what my wife will buy me for my birthday in February....I just can't imagine......

Those of you attending the reunion have just had two of your surprise exclusive looks taken away from you.

Harbour Lights had told Lighthouse Depot NOT to post the information they did until AFTER the Reunion. These were to be exclusive previews to those attending the reunion.

At Harbour Lights' request today, the images and information has been taken down from the Lighthouse Depot web site.

These items will be available at ALL of Harbour Lights dealers when they ship. Talk to your favorite dealer -- who may not yet know about these items.

For those of us who can't make the reunion I say, "Yippee---we got in on the scoop!"

I did go to my dealer this afternoon---his eyes lit up at the news---and told him to put me on the list. He's going to call the regional rep, who hopefully knows about it.

I also told him about the Lighthouse Depot 'exclusive' and he wasn't too thrilled abbout it (although he quickly acknowledges LHD's commanding lead in Harbour Lights sales).

I guess someone made a boo boo up North .....

Well, at least they looked nice for a few hours!

My eyes were as big as a basketballs when I saw these images. My friends in Central PA also went bonkers over this.

This is going to be 2 GREAT pieces. HL's did these fresnels up right!! Absolutely worth the SRP's.

I missed it they already took them down and not going to the reunion so I guess I'll have to wait for someone to post a pic. of these fine two pieces

First of all...John, sorry I let people see, I had no idea it was a secret. You made them take others down too, didn't you. I recall the number of "Limited Editions" available being a little higher than it is now plus 2 on that page.

Second...Bill, if I recall, I believe they are 5,000 each.

Third...ha, ha, I pulled the pictures out of my cache...I still have the pictures, and I'm not sharing! ( I showed them to my wife and she REALLY liked them)

For those who missed them, and won't see them until next week....WOW!(I don't know how to make that little "TM" dohickey). They appear to be well worth the wait.

Larry - it was not any fault of your own. LHD was in error. I would ask that anyone who has images in their cache or otherwise, NOT post them in the forums.

I don't know what else was there. I did not talk to LHD. Harbour Lights asked them to pull them.

The production listed on LHD was 5,000.
I guess one of the advantages of checking this forum every 15 min. is catching something like this.

They probably thought they could take advantage of all the traffic from collectors ordering the Ft. Washington piece...gotta watch being too greedy, it may come back to bite them someday!

Sorry Rod, that possibility has been debated and disproven. It has already been proven that having a Store Exclusive has no possibility of luring sales from other stores, fruit stands or vegetable stands.

Figures, today is the day I picked to clean the house (finally) and I missed out! Will have to wait a bit longer to see them.

I'm in the same boat as you on this one Mombo! I also missed them! Will have to wait until next Thursday! Hope to see everyone there! Have a save and enjoyable trip everybody!

For those of you who missed out on the "Sneek Peek" and are going to the Reunion in Baltimore.... dont' worry, you won't be dissapointed! Besides, the reunion is only in a few days!

For those who are not going, well, we can only hope that once these are presented at the reunion next week, that posting of images of these fine marvelous lenes will be available for the general public to gaze at.

As Bill stated earlier, it was kind nice for those who are not going to the reunion to scoop on some tid bits as well. I just feel bad that LHD may catch some slack for this slip up. I hope not.

Not only did I finally have a massive heart attack at the age of 31 when I saw these babies the first time (last week), but now the order went through and the total amount is.... well, I can't say ....

No matter what the price, these Fresnel Lenses are ...AWESOME... and are worth the money since they are 10X better than the first one (5th Order)!!

Like I said before, my wife is going to KILL ME if she finds out about these!! ....shhhh I guess I will have to give them to her as a gift.

Yep Christopher, I ordered mine last night too!(yikes) Call it a late christmas gift to yourself, at least that's what I'm telling myself! They are just beautiful, and now I'm counting the days (well months) until they come!

I got a catalog from Lighthouse Depot today. Iv'e not been on the forum as much as I would have liked to lately, so I didn't know about these 2 new Fresnels! What a surprise to see them in the catalog! These are truly must have pieces. I'm saving a spot in my curio next to the other lens (who is starting to get a bit lonely)!

Now that the Reunion is over, Lighthouse Depot has the pictures of the lenses back on their website. They were not on display at the Reunion. After looking at the pictures on LHD's website, these will go really fast.

They look fantastic! Must get my order in!

Guess I just forgot to turn on the crystal ball that day Bill! But now that the photos are back up and I got to see these new lenses all I can say is "Double WOW". Will certainly have to reserve these two.

Ordered mine from LHD this morning. My wife gave the go ahead..."she needs Christmas gifts for the next two years." (I'm getting the 5th order this year). I'm glad she said it with a smile and a giggle. I hope that means it was a joke.

I'm new to collecting and everything I've gotten so far has been secondary market. I called the closest local dealer, and they told me they don't keep a waiting list. Sounds like Lighthouse Depot may become "my dealer".

The two Fresnels did not make an appearance at the Runion. They were to have been a 'preview' item, but when the word was leaked, HL took them off the official program.

?????? And yet they are back on the Lighthouse Depot Site???????? I refuse to visit the site to see them. Sour Grapes for not getting to see them at the Reunion. Lighthouse Depot created the "leak". Not the Collectors. They're not even going to be available until 2002. Don't bother ordering for Christmas Gifts! Have these been announced to the Reps. and the Dealers yet or is Lighthouse Depot getting both an exclusive Bell Tower and early advertising of the lenses. One Forum member already suggests leaving their dealer or at least not buying the lenses from them.

I stand corrected. The reason the Fresnels were not shown at the Reunion was simply that they did not arrive when needed to be shown.

A reminder that these items will be autoshipped. If your local dealer gets autoshipped pieces, reserve yours now. They should be easy to find throughout the country when they show up early next year.

Expect to see these pictured in the next Lighthouse Legacy.

Well that changes the whole story, it really didn't sound like something Harbour Lights would do.

They are so cool, looking forward to seeing them in person
