Arrived home from work today and found the highlight of the day on the porch. It was the 1999 society piece Baltimore Harbour. As one who likes the lighthouses of the Chesapeake Bay this is a very nice addition to the collection. It is slightly smaller than the similar Sandy Point Shoals, and is very well done as is the case of all the latest HLs. I especially like the wave against the base. Thanks again to Younger and Associates for a piece that will be admired for a long time.

I'm sure it will be another month or more before I see my Baltimore Harbor piece, but I did get to see and hold one today here in Virginia Beach. Great piece. Can't wait for mine.

Art,

Did you see it at the Younger visit or did your dealer already have it?

Moby,

It wasn't at *my* retailer. It was in VA Beach at the Christmas Attic. It wasn't at a store event.

I received my Baltimore today via the pony express, The horse was loaded high with box's and he was headed off East into the night.
I belive the Baltimore has something new - two of the waves crashing into the base of the lighthouse are breaking and they have a tunnel (for lack of a better discription) under them, Is this the first time HL has done waves like this ?
It is another fine Harbour Lights work of art. But having just seen the real one and Sandy Point Shoals light from the same beach and knowing that they are about the same size in real life it's a bit odd seeing it smaller than the Sandy Point piece, maybe I'll display them with the Sandy Point back behind the Baltimore creating the illusion of them being closer in size.

We just received our Baltimore Harbor today. We are going to see it in a couple of weeks. I will take Mark's advice and will look at it from further away.

We also retrieved Baltimore from our front porch Friday, but it turned out to be a very tramatic event. Baltimore turned out to be the first piece that has no home in our home. There is no space available in any of our curio cabinets left big enough for anything but an ornament, and it'll need to be a small ornament at that. I saw a commercial on television this weekend showing a man carrying a can onto a subway car where he proceded to beg for coins to help fund a recent full kitchen renovation that he had just completed (yeah, it was a strange commercial). But it did give me an idea on how to finance my next cabinet. In the meantime Baltimore is relegated to a shelf in the closet. The good news is that it won't be lonely for too long. I just listened to a message on our recorder telling me that the Boston Harbor and Assateague GLOWs have just arrived at my local dealer's store. Oh well, my wife didn't need all those extra clothes anyway.

Baltimore arrived today. Like the piece. The railings are great as well as the wave action.

Received Baltimore light and the print of Seven Foot Knoll on Friday. Both are beautiful. I've had to purchase two new shelfs to accomodate my summer purchases. Am looking forward to getting the Point Fermin miniature and Seven Foot Knoll.

My Baltimore Harbor arrived today. WOW, what a great piece! As if society membership itself wasn't worth the $30 per year!!! These folks really know how to reward us.

I got my print of Seven Foot Knoll yesterday, and it had a note saying the Baltimore Harbour would follow in four to six weeks! Well that was the fastest four weeks of my life, since the Baltimore showed up today. I was very impressed by the detail of this piece and if there had ever been any doubt about the value of the Collectors society (which there wasn't) this piece would have shattered them!

Baltimore Harbor arrived yesterday. I like the detail of it, even though it is a bit smaller than Sandy Point Shoal. Once again Harbour Lights improves, this time with the wave action, nice funnel. Someday we hope to visit the Chesapeake to see these lights in person.

There's more than corn in Indiana. Now there's Baltimore Harbor. Arrived today as well as my legacy, "What a Day". Can't put the piece away, just have to keep looking at it. What a railing! I sure hope that seahorse can swim good 'cause that big-ol-wave is going to get him.

Your info about the Legacy and Baltimore Light arriving makes me anxious to go home from my summer school position and see if the UPS man came by my house. Surely hope so, have been waiting and waiting and waiting.

Still no Baltimore at my house. I did receive the package with the Seven Foot Knoll print accompanied by a letter stating Baltimore Light would follow in four to six weeks. Hopefully, it will be come sooner than that.

Here in hot, muggy South Louisiana I received my Lighthouse Legacy on Saturday and my Seven Foot Knoll print and Baltimore sculpture today. Baltimore is NICE. Love the railings and the treatment of the lantern. Poor seahorse is about to get drowned!

I got my Baltimore last week-Wed.? Chat-day? Anyway, the detail is fantastic! When I look at Buffalo, then at Baltimore, I can really see the difference in the sculpting-HL continues to out-do themselves! Got my Legacy on Sat! Still missing the last issue. And found one of my dream HL at retail-Split Rock LE!!! What a week! Gotta go hunt for another Seahorse!!!

Greetings,

Saturday I received via U.S. Mail a beautiful Mark Sherman print of Seven Foot Knoll and a letter telling me my Baltimore Harbor would arrive in 4 to 6 weeks (bummer!!)

Monday I got home from work and my son said U.P.S. was here and handed me a package which contained.......you guessed it!!

It's a beautiful piece, the pix didn't do it justice. My wife couldn't believe that such a fine sculpture could be had for the cost of the membership fee.

Hats off to Harbour Lights!!!

Keep the Flame!!

P.S. What seahorse?? You mean there are seahorses on the things????

Today, you should see the tear stains on your screen. I just knew that the package would be there when I got home yesterday...But,NO! All you other folks are holding, looking, finding the sea horse, and marveling at what a great addition this society piece will make to your HL collection and....here I sit, waiting, waiting, waiting....How long can this go on..Okay, I know, until it arrives on my doorstep, I know I'm being a bit dramatic.
(Must be some kin to my 4 year old grandtwins who cry in a New York minute.)

Okay, I know this is a test of my patience, but the barge has still not docked! I think it probably got stuck on a sandbar some place. I even called the home office and spoke to Kate who assured me that it was on its way...So, okay, I'll wait....

Derith,

I didn't see you post an "I finally got it!"

Everyday I log on and expect to see news of your receiving your Baltimore Harbour.

Maybe if all of us lightkeepers put our collective energy together we can cause a disturbance in the force and your lighthouse will arrive!!

I received my Baltimore Harbor piece on Friday, June 11th 1999. This piece has made it into the Northeast, I live in New Hampshire. It was a great way to start the weekend, coming home and seeing the box on the porch. My wife loves this piece. It is one of her favorites in our Harbour Lights collections

Derith,
Take heart!! Baltimore's are beginning to trickle into Florida - I'm near Jacksonville and mine arrived yesterday. An excellent piece!! The fine detail of the lower railing is remarkable.
