The UPS Driver dropped off a small package today from my dealer in Oregon. I excitedly opened it to find the HL405 Montauk NY Great Lighthouses of the World!

It's a very nicely detailed lighthouse. I sat it in the curio next to the Limited Edition. While I always thought the LE Montauk Point NY was a nicely detailed piece, the GLOW beats it hands down -- although it is about 2/3rds the size of the original.

Good for you, John! I haven't seen any Montauk GLOWS around here yet. I remember looking at the one at the reunion and thinking the same thing, what a great piece! I still like my LE though.

No legacy in Maine as of today. Montauk GLOW was at Lighthouse depot last Sun. when we were there. Nice piece. Merry christmas to all.

Finally got two Montauk GLOWs today (A442 & A443), one of which is for a friend. The dealer told me she just got 6 in and I got the last 2. Sounds like this piece is going to be popular. Could the rapid removal from store shelves relate to the hunger of avid HL fans for new pieces to buy in 1999? Bring on the 1999 LEs!! Time will tell, I guess.

That's the word from the East Coast where is drizzling at 40 degrees.

Received my Montauk GLOW friday. A really great piece. Looks like Harbour Lights is outdoing themselves again with the GLOWS. Worth the wait.
