I've decided that since I now have a job and can afford paid hosting I'm going to expand my website. I bought my host's biggest plan (8 gigs of space and 65 gigs of bandwidth) and will buy a .com domain name for my new site. My old one for texas will remain the same as a part of the new one but the new one will also have information on all of the Gulf Coast's lighthouses from LA-FL (Like I said, my TX lights page will remain). Now having a job gives me the money to do this but not the time so it'll be a while. Anyway, here's the banner for the new site, let me know what you think color-wise.

Congratulations on all fronts, Zachary. I like the banner. One of the few I have seen that uses a fancy script font where it was made large enough to read. (All too often people want to use a fancy font but keep it in the same small size as their basic serif/sans serif font which makes it pretty much unreadable.) Good luck on your project, and we'll look forward to seeing the pages as they develop.

While your new web site looks beautiful, the light blue background with white print -- although used on many sites -- makes reading the information almost impossible for me. Whenever I come upon a site with that color combination, I immediately leave.

My tired old eyes can't handle it.

Bob, I'll probably make another version for dial-up users and those who have images turned off, I'll make it using an easier to read color scheme.
