If you're interested...I'm selling the "First Day" stamp caches for Tybee and Cape Lookout. These are envelopes that have a "First Day" cancellation, along with a pretty photo, and are considered collectibles. This is a fundraiser for the Outer Banks Lighthouse Society.

A sidenote to the Southeastern Stamps...
Yesterday, I was standing in line at the Post Office with an armful of packages containing the stamp caches I was sending out( another shameful plug!)

A lady in front of me was buying stamps for her husband. She asked for "Flags".

The postmaster told her she was out of "Flags", but she had some pretty lighthouse stamps.

"What are those?", the lady asks as she looks at them suspiciously, and the postmaster explains.

"Oh well, I guess I'll take those...he's not going to like them, 'cause they're not flags, but he's out of stamps."

To each, his own, and something for everybody!
