Hello all,

A friend from NC gave me this site for the move of the lighthouse which began this weekend and will go until at least the middle of august. Its www.witntv.com.They have a camera on the top of the lightouse and one on the ground. It refreshes every few minutes. Also there is a GREAT animation sequence that you can click on and shows you exactly how it is being done, from the cutting of the base all the way until it reaches its final destination.Let me know what you think! Have fun!
Bob

I am "fortunate" to be able to work nights. One of the highlights of my day is to watch the sun come up! I live in St. Louis (central time zone) and usually check the Cape Hatteras webcam about 5 AM (6AM eastern). It is really a treat to be able to see the sun rising there too! If anyone is up at that time, I would recommend that you check out the Hatteras sunrise too!

Thanks for the tip Chris, that's about the time I get up anyway. I'll check it out.
