For those who haven't met him I can attest that Bill and Bob's younger brother Bruce is alive and well and living in Baldwinsville, NY. And yes he is going bald also.

His alias in Bruce King and he's an architect with the firm who designed the current library in B'ville. Imagine my surprise when I walked into the library's meeting room this evening for a presentation he was giving and found myself looking at the spitting image of our friend Bill! And his presentation skills were also on a par with his older, older brother as well. smile

It's a good enough picture - has to be the third lookalike brother. Wonder if we can expect a doll in his honor?

Maybe HLs is going into lighthouse building. This way they would already have the prints/pictures for making their limited editions. Besides that, Bruce wanted to become a painter and this would have messed up Tori's job so he started his own business. It's not owned by Harbour Lights but he contracts to them. Bruce also gets a percentage of all of his lighthouses that are sold. He's also smart. He's learned from his older brother Bob not to ride a motorcycyle around trees. He lives in Los Vegas and rides around on a three wheeler in the desert.

Grace - Yes, Dave was kind enough to size the picture I sent him to fit. Still my favorite light of all times, but, a Coquille during sunset instead of daylight.

Can't believe you found that picture Dave!

Actually the Village of Baldwinsville does have 3 lighthouses but I don't know whether Bruce had a hand in their design. In the photos in the following link...

http://baldwinsvillechamber.com/attractions.asp

...the building to the very left in the first photo is a restaurant called, duh, The Lock 24. If you look closely (the photos are kinda small) you can see the "lighthouse" that's been incorporated into it's design.

In the third photo of Paper Mill Island you may be able to see the "twin towers" of the amphitheater. Suppose they could have been two longnecked beer bottles..... To the very right in that photo are the remnants of Mercer's Mill (hence Papermill Island). A group of investors wanted to restore the building while incorporating a restaurant/hotel into it. A couple of the partners backed out so the building was sold. There is a lot of work being done on the property but I'm not sure just what it's to become.

(This area is where I first saw the Day Peckinpaugh tied up on it's recent voyage through the canal.)

The 6th photo down is the Library which we know was a Bruce design.

Here's a night shot of the restaurant. Above the (i) is the lighted "lantern room".

And here's a better shot of those "twin towers".

And another:

Here's the mill in earlier days. (The restaurant is on the left of the white pointy things.)
