It seems in my memory that for the first time, a toilet paper manufacturer has finally gotten to the bottom of the "what should we say when we advertise toilet paper?" question.
The ads currently running for Cottenelle show the backsides of a lot of people in tight clothes.
So is this better than the "Don't Squeeze The Charmin" commercials?
I think I'll applaud Cottenelle for bareing the truth about what their product actually is for.

I sat up and took notice today when I saw that commercial. Listen to the words also, they don't beat around the bush, but get right to the point! Made me jump right up and go test out their product. And it's sooooooo soft too.

How about using the lighthouse toilet paper sold by Lighthouse Depot! Anybody buy any of theirs?

Yeah, but the real question is, are you going to drape it front or back of the roll?

Back in 71' in basic training they taught drap over the front. Been doing it that way ever since. Chuck ------------------ bigdragon

TP should come over the top of the roll. Nothing is over till the paperwork is done! Bob [This message has been edited by Bob M (edited 04-02-2002).]

That commercial made me laugh so hard...I saw it a few days ago...at first I thought it was a jeans commercial...then I noticed that not everyone was wearing jeans...and that the focus was most definitely on everyone's bottoms...I sat up for that one too...I was completely puzzled and trying to figure out what was up with the camera focus...and then when it was a commercial for TP...that was quite a punch line! Completely unexpected!...but I think the commercial does its job - got your attention - and you won't forget the name or the concept...and well, it got people talking about it, right? That's what we're doing right now. Very good advertising. LOL! Haha! Oh, and TP definitely has to drape over the top - That's one of my pet peeves, for sure. Although I guess sometimes we should just be happy that the roll was replaced.

The only valid reason, other than personal preference, was that (their)cats could not empty the roll by playing with it.(When draped over the back. I`m not making this up folks!)
