Debbie,

Try to size it to 75x75 pixels. Otherwise, the software will do it for you and those results are not always the greatest.

Working on it... just looking for something different. Trying to get the cropping right to get it as close to 75X75 as I can. I see how it will adjust itself to those dimensions.
Thanks Dave!

Hey Debbie, I like that one... could you tell me (sorry ignorant from the wrong side of the pond) the name of the lighthouse please?!

Looks like Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal based on where Debbie lives and the skeletal structure.

Debbie, in some editing programs you can set the crop tool to a certain size. If you can do this, it would help you to get much closer to what you really want to do.

It looks like Rawley Point, Wisconsin to me.

It is indeed Rawley Point Light.
Margret-it is located in Point Beach State Forest near Two Rivers, Wi.

Hey Dave...it was a good guess based on my location and some of the images that I have posted!

I have Adobe Photoshop 4.0
Unfortunately, I don't have as much time as I would like to spend to see what options I have or to truthfully do what I'd like with some of my photos. frown

My bad on the wrong ID. Did a drive by look without trying to look at the small image close enough.

Debbie, Photoshop Elements will let you set the size of the crop tool. While it normally shows inches, you can set it to pixels. I like that option, as it shows you what the image will look like before you make the final crop.
