Is this what you're looking for, Randy?

Here are instructions copied from photopoint:

Q39: How do I place a single image on a bulletin board?

- go to your album and click on the thumbnail to enlarge it.

- click on the enlarged photo.

- this will take you to a page with just the photo on it...no text, no border.

- go to the address bar and copy the URL.
This is the one you must use.
place this URL into your HTML code.

- place this on your bulletin board and your image will appear.

- this will have to be done for every image that you wish to add to your bulletin board.

Note: This is only a link to your image, if the image is moved, the link will be broken and the image will no longer appear on the bulletin board. Also, there are several different formats for bulletin boards and this method may not work for all of them.

Please note - we used HTML rather than the simpler 'IMG' tags to post Randy's pic. See one of the help directories such as 'Forum Goodies' or 'NewbieJumpgate' for a link to posting w/ HTML. Its really quites easy. The UBB forum software converted that to the IMG tag.

Re: Picture Test - 01/26/01 02:39 AM

Just a note to all.

When you post an image on the Forums, make sure YOU are the author/creator of the image OR that the image is not copyrighted (not too likely these days.)

For images that are already on the net, that doesn't mean they are not copyrighted.

It's OK to create a LINK to an image at another site, but NOT to SHOW the image unless you own the copyright or have the creator's permission to show the image.

If you do have the permission, you should include a tag line such as "Image copyright 2000 John Doe, used with permission" when you show it.

You may be able to use your scanner's software to crop out the white space.
