Testing the new file (image) upload system

Here are a few photos I'm uploading as a trial:

Because this image exceeded the dimensions and file size limits, it is shown as a link.

This image is 1600x1200 pixels and the file size is 460KB (not 450 MB as shown in the caption).

I've added a PDF of a PowerPoint slide show with the step-by-step for uploading -- see below in this thread.

Here's a second upload of an image 500 pixels wide @ 72dpi:

Tried twice following instructions, and no picture is displayed. Process is simple but didn't work for me.

John, thanks so much for adding the step by step it makes it so much easier to follow. I'm still a bit slow on resizing and then finding my picture but I use my picasa web site to do that. I'm sure more of us that had not posted before will be able to do this.

I never could get the handle of uploading using Vista. Now I can easily upload my about 5,000 lighthouse pictures today.
