Just a few shy of 40,250 posts as of 2/20/01. Last check of the message meter was on 11/21/00 when there were 37,500.

That's an average of about 31 a day for the past 89 days.

A few hundred additional messages in closed forums.

As of May 2, 2001, 43,071 messages in active threads. 2,766 since the 2/20/01 check or an average of 39 a day.

No doubt the increase per day is due to the ongoing International Lighthouse Name Game which Paul, Derith, Sue and Bryan have been keeping very active!
