Re: More Graemlins - 07/21/06 06:33 PM

Thank you, John! Our Miracle Worker! I still think kowtowing helps.

However, I am still looking for a graemlin with a tear running down its face. I know I've seen one somewhere.

Re: More Graemlins - 07/21/06 07:48 PM

Wait a second...I just saw one on a MINI forum...let me find it.

There shouldn't be rights issues with these - the same ones are on every forum. We've got a lot of the ones that Brindfan posted on my Land Rover board. An they're on the other LR board. And...

So yeah. Let me see if I can dig up any other cool stuff on my other sites, as well.

Re: More Graemlins - 07/21/06 07:56 PM

Here's some. I uploaded them to my folder here on the CF, but I'd rather not keep it that way...just because it requires having my email address out there, and I don't like that idea. So I'll figure something out.

Some of these may be reruns, but...

Crying
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/cry.gif)

Nodding
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/nod.gif)

Eek (I know we already have one of these, but this one isn't animated - I like using it in other forums for wide-eyed amazement)
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/eek.gif)

Sly (also kind of looks like a twitch)
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/sly.gif)

Laughing
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/lol.gif)

Thumbs Up (Can also be used to describe your lighthousing hitchhiking adventures)
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/thumb-up.gif)

I'll check some of my other boards for more...

Re: More Graemlins - 07/21/06 07:58 PM

Great, Greg! We need these little critters to liven up our posts! Sometimes words are just not enough. cool

Re: More Graemlins - 07/21/06 08:03 PM

From the LR board...

YEAH!!!!!
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/yeah.gif)

Sniff again...this one's animated...
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/sniff.gif)

Ack again....
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/ack2.gif)

Super Yay!
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/clapclap.gif)

Super OK!
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/bigok.gif)

We all need a little patriotism...
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/patriot.gif)

As with Brindfan's smileys, change the () to <> and you're in business...
Posted By: seagirt

Re: More Graemlins - 07/21/06 08:08 PM

And the other LR forum (people like me belong to a lot of LR forums)...

Another kowtow...
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/notworthy.gif)

HELP!
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/help.gif)

This can be used to describe some lighthousing trips...a RALLYE!
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/rallysmiley.gif)

When you're really sad (we now have a tear for every occasion)
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/bawling.gif)

I have no idea what this one is, but every forum has it. Maybe it's the "different" smiley.
(img src=http://www.lighthousekeepers.com/uploads/files/LHTours@aol.com/bgreen.gif)

Okay, I'm out of forums! laugh

EDIT: I guess I should upload 'em first. Sorry.

Re: More Graemlins - 07/21/06 08:30 PM

This is a good one for anyone who visits lighthouses. If you've ever been to Crisp Point, or any other hard to find lighthouse, you understand the need for good directions.

Re: More Graemlins - 07/21/06 09:11 PM

This is very appropriate. For the October HL Maine Regional, I'm planning to fly to Virginia. Then, Judy (Lighthouser) and I will be driving to Maine. After the Maine Regional, we will drive to CT for the Avery Point Relighting. We hope to see a lot of lighthouses along the way - time, traffic, and my navigating permitting. confused

Thanks, Greg! Lots of good additions!

Better get one of those GPS thingees, Grace.

Brindfan - anyway to make one of these characters BLONDE?

Re: More Graemlins - 07/21/06 11:28 PM

Yep, a blonde is needed in the driver's seat! laugh

Re: More Graemlins - 07/22/06 03:23 AM

Maybe we need to set up a "Follow Grace & Judy" like we do with Fred when he's on the road. Someone different calls you each night to see if you're in the right state.

...after all can't we all be "saved by Grace"?
