International Chat Sunday, Dec 4

To 'meet and greet' our friends on the European continent, we've scheduled a special chat for Sunday, December 4 starting at 2:00 pm Eastern Time. Dave will jump in here shortly and post the Zulu time.

Mark your PDAs and calendars and let's see if we can have a good turn out for Margret, Stan and hopefully Iris.

I'm looking forward to it! We should do this more often...both to make international communication easier, but also because it's a little more convenient to chat on weekends. It would be great to have a weekend chat maybe once a month...something I don't have to stay up forever for.

I was home, but we were busy doing some housework, and I couldn't make it. I do think we should do it again, though...as stated above, not just for the international element, but also the midday convenience.

Good for you, Greg! I could use your help around here. Maybe if I weren't on the CF's so much lately, my house might actually be ready for Christmas.

We were still in Michigan City after our lighting event. Same goes for Good Mary (it was Evil Mary at the chat . . . .) Just too much going on this weekend unfortunately.

Dave, hope part of the "going" was picture taking of OMC in the snow! Paul said he had to leave but some of you might have gotten some snow pictures.

Is it possible not to do it on the FIRST Sunday in the month? I would have to not go to the evening service that day - and there is only one evening service each month in this tiny little village church. I'd miss that a lot!

Gee, maybe you all will yet understand the value and importance of GMT - as long as you know your time zone, things posted in GMT are easy to adjust to your local time.....

Second Sunday in the month ... one hour earlier is OK ... 2 PM Eastern is OK ... an hour later could be difficult for me towards the end...

I have a long standing Chat-Schedule with my parents and my two sisters and my daughter. They all live in Germany and we chat every Sunday on Yahoo....

I would have been there but I had a couple of other things to do, sort of Christmas related. Once the holidays are over I could most likely do Sundays.

I guess we best wait until after the holidays anyway! So have a great time!

Sounds like "shades of the old AOL days" in the making. Do any of you remember the old "AOL Chats"? If my memory serves me correctly, one of the chat days was on Sunday.
