John - I think we need a link to order the WP at the top of the Main Forums as we did for the ELL. There are obviously members that don't know where or how to find the link. Dave does not know how to make a link and I could destroy the whole enchilada if I got in there and tried. Please provide this link so that others will be able to find it easily.

John - This is a job that only you can do and that is to create a link to order the WP Exclusive at the top of the Main Forum Page near the Header. I sugested a link close to 3 months ago and then again in the above posting 3 weeks ago. Dave and I have done all that is possible with the new members that are registering and in the WP Exclusive Forum, but, you have to create the Main Forums Page Link as we don't know what we are doing. If you can't do it then we will have to live with that, but, at least let us know.

Are you one of the fence rail sitters that haven't ordered your WP Exclusive yet? I would guess that there are at least 100 of you that for one reason or another have not commited to buy the exclusive yet and that could mean very slim support for both lighthouse preservation and your Collectors Forum. Just give up one night out at the movies or one eat out with the family and you could buy the WP Exclusive. At this point in time I kind of doubt it. We still have quite a few left since for many reasons (economy, jobs, loss of interest) the Wisconsin Point Exclusive did not go over as well as the Erie Land Light Exclusive. We will have to sell out first before we can even think about another exclusive.

But we can always hope for 2010!

It's always possible but not very probable. If the CF members that haven't bought the WP would buy one and the members that bought only one would buy a second one for a gift we could have a sell out by Christmas. As it looks now we may not have a sell out until early next year. The response so far does not indicate another Exclusive for several years, if any.

I totally disagree with you Rich. Hopefully the economy will be turn around by 2010. If not I still don’t see any problem in issuing another Forum exclusive. We just will have to make some adjustments. Remember we thought the high gas prices were here to stay, but look at them now. I think all of us on the forums have been around long enough to see the ups and downs on the economy before. Yes; it seems to get worst each time, but I personally expect it to get better than it is now.

If this economy turns around like I think it is going to, the WP will have a good secondary market value. So for those that haven't bought one yet may be missing your chance to have a valuable collectable for retail.

Finally fit my second Wisconsin Point into my HL budget. Placed my order today.

If it weren't for the slowdown Christmas usually causes, I would say yes. I got mine in less than a week!

If the line at the post office isn't out the door I will mail it tomorrow. When I stopped by today to check the PO Box the line was well out into the lobby. We'll see.

My apologies to Dave. I wasn't thinking about the lines due to holiday shipping when I ordered my second one. At this point I should have waited another week or two and placed my order.
