On the positive side, one and a half of the commissioners have removed their heads from their previous unnatural location. Sounds like O'Neal, the head idiot, is a strong early contender for the Congressman Jones Flaming Jackass of the Year Award........

Okay, we knew this was a strong probability, because this group made this threat to OBC immediately after the title was transferred.

You're right, some things have changed. A couple members of this board have or in the process of "seeing the light". Even the tide of feeling in the community of full time residents of Currituck is changing to excepting the situation, and many no longer see OBC as a threat, and realize their lighthouse is still there and isn't going anywhere.

Yet,there are enough of these "politicians" bent on causing damage and carrying out their threats.

OBC,inc has been through so much adversity in the past few years and each time they've "come through" when it counted. The "Currituck Croney Commissioner's" can have their fun but when its all said and done they'll simply be eating more crow! Somehow, someway, OBC will find the necessary parking and restroom facilities in order to pass the new county ordinance....I just have to believe that! smile

Oh...my...God...these people are obviously in denial that OBC owns the lighthouse and they do not.

Well, last I heard, there is a nicely restored outhouse on the LH property...worse comes to worse...

Also...something I noticed...the "Currituck Heritage Park" sign at the WHC entrance still states the LH as part of the park...is it? Or is this another example of denial.

These people REALLY need to get a life. I'm sure there are things that need more attention in Currituck County than the next plan to prevent OBC from operating the light. Like finding the person who tore up the golf course at The Currituck Club last week....alot more important, especially when the tire tracks on the 12th green send your ball flying off to the side. mad

O'Neal and Martin have but one objective, and that is to get their hands into the pockets of OBC,Inc.!
