Sue Reynolds of the Lighthouse Kids with Volunteerism Award

On May 11, 2006 American Lighthouse Foundation board of directors member Jeremy D’Entremont and executive director Bob Trapani, Jr., paid a visit to the Lighthouse Kids, a chapter of ALF, at North Hampton Middle School in New Hampshire. In addition to learning about the latest plans and accomplishments of the ambitious seventh graders who continue their work to save the offshore White Island Lighthouse, ALF took the opportunity to honor Sue Reynolds, the seventh grade class teacher and leader of the Lighthouse Kids.

Hooray for Sue! She has truly inspired the Lighthouse Kids. Amazing that they have raised $100,000 with more coming! It's wonderful that they have such determination and perseverance.
