Want to buy a lighthouse?

The GSA is auctioning off a Chesapeake Bay lighthouse that is presently actually owned by the USLHS. Reading the article, it will be a definite challenge with the extra restrictions that will be in place.

Yep, it's the restrictions that are the holdup. Maybe if the Coast Guard replaced it with modern tower/optic and bidders were allowed to relocate the 'Sparkplug', the auction action would be more robust.
