Aransas Pass Lights - 06/02/05 04:29 AM

I just came back from my trip out to Corpus Christi, here's a few pictures
The Corpus Christi lighthouse was torn down in 1878(?), but the Gulf has several lights like these breakwater lights

The next day, we (my mom and I) took the Kohootz Dolphin tour where I shot these pictures

The Lydia Ann Channel lighthouse at a distant

The Lydia Ann Channel lighthouse close up, notice the Lighthouse Keeper on the stairs of the far left house

This is the active USCG skeletal tower nearby, notice the range light in the front of the taller tower

A Close-Up of one of the smaller Harbor Lights that are scattered about

And finally, yours truly infront of the Lydia Ann Channel lighthouse

Thanks for sharing your pictures, Zachary.

While the newer style range markers are not as attactive as the old fashioned range lights, they do an excellent job when trying to explain to someone the concept of ranges.
