Cape Neddick "Nubble" Light, York, ME

I think this light will be a favorite of mine for a long time. The cable car out to the island adds a quaint touch.

While the tower and keeper's house are standard fare it's the setting that makes this lighthouse so special. Driving up the coast you get your first glimpse of it and then when you finally get right out to the parking area and see it in person it's awesome! No matter how many photos I'd seen of it being there and seeing it in person was super!

My photos aren't as clear as yours Marty but I had a "good cloud day"!

Yes...nice fair clouds! I took mine just before sunset and the whites are a bit "hot".
