More Traverse City Area

Old Mission Lighthouse, at the tip of Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City.


Grand Traverse Lighthouse, at the tip of Leleenau Peninsula, Northport.


They have cleared out several trees in front of the lighthouse since I've been there three years ago. You can now see the Lake from the Lighthouse. This area used to be overrun with brush.

Not too often you see Mission Point without a mob of people around it! Grand Traverse is also looking good. OK, for the non-Michigan people a trivia question: What is the other name of the Grand Traverse Light?
