I grabbed a couple of quick pics as I was passing by Dutch Harbor (Jamestown RI) on my way home from Point Judith on Labor Day. It appears something is going on at the lighthouse.

There is some sort of makeshift scaffold attached to the upper portion of the light, just below the lantern. Anybody privy to what is going on?

Indeed that was a nice article in The Jamestown Press. Often times I wondered if anything would ever be done with this light. Now I know, and I'm pleased to see the project is a dream come true for all involved.
