Sneak Peak at Heceta Head Lighthouse

Sneak Peak at Heceta Head Lighthouse - 05/06/05 08:25 PM

This was probably my highlight of the entire trip. Patience will pay off - I need to finish the Washington lighthouses first, but I had to share these.

This coastal shot from Heceta Head itself was about 45 minutes before sunset and is the coastline looking south.

This next shot, "Sea Stack Sunset", was shot of the sea stacks near the parking lot for the Heceta Head trail about 15 minutes after sunset as the tide was coming in. I added a bit of color to this one and cropped it from the original. Sorry about the size on this one.

Jen,

I fell in love with the first picture -- a coastal shot from Heceta Head itself. It's beautiful.

Ah! Heceta Head....the spot on earth that God took special care with. Your photos are great.

I only wish you could be there at night to see the light...awesome!
