Haig Point
- 04/12/99 05:48 PM
I went to see several lighthouses in SC this weekend and I saw Haig Point on Daufuskie Island - across from Harbour Town (Hilton Head). It is a light on top of a house and it is very nice. I had never even heard of it until I picked up a book on our trip - Southern Lighthouses. There is also Lemington light there also. Didn't get to see it though

Dea,
Its always great to get to see the lights that are not generally available to the public. The Chesapeake Chapter of the USLHS did a South Carolina road trip last fall and saw a couple others.
