2. The light may be from anywhere in the world.
3. Request that we limit guesses to 1/person/day
4. A hint may be provided every day starting on the 2nd day.
5.I will keep/post the running scores, scoring will be by points assigned for difficulty (1-5).
6. Post your guesses to this thread.
7. Your input (please!) with photos ENCOURAGED and appreciated, acknowledged when used.
8. Rate this a 4.

Download this week's game: CLICK HERE

Once you have downloaded the game, just doubleclick on the exe file and start the STANDALONE VERSION. Remember, that solving the puzzle isn't by any means the end - you've got to use the completed puzzle as clues to figure which LH it is.
But of course, you can't win the game until you solve the jigsaw puzzle.
Right click on puzzle pieces to rotate them. Move them together and if you are right, they will stick together.

Current scores:
Larry -24
DMancini - 17
Mombo - 7
Sweetpshirin - 3
Lightseeker -2
pharologst -0

There will be a second game this week, but will not be available until after the first one is completed or tomorrow whichever comes later. Variation on scoring for the second puzzle will be: 1pt if solved in the 1st 24 hrs, 2 pts for the second 24hrs, 3 pts.etc up to a max of 7 points.

2ND GAME POSTED SEE BELOW

Regarding the 2nd game - shouldn't you get more points if you solve it the first day, rather than the 2nd, etc.? Unless I'm not understanding correctly.

We'll all just wait until Day 7, Sue! Maybe it's like reverse psychology. See who's the first to pull the trigger for a lower point total.

Still worth 1 point until this evening. Today's hint: Sits 1800' above sea level, but the keeper's quarters is even higher.

Now it's worth 2 ponts. It was moved from 34986 to 28906.

Should I wait for more points? Does anyone else have it figured out?

Oh heck, here's my guess:

It is a painting in George's house, in the basement perhaps, and the "keeper's quarters" is a bedroom upstairs, in Murphy, NC (28906). The painting was once in Port St. Lucie, FL (34986).

How's that?

We did guess the numbers were zip codes and the move was when George moved to NC. Hadn't thought of a painting. Bet you're right on that one.
We thought it might be a photo of a miniature lighthouse placed in a photo of scenery. Couldn't come up with a guess for the lighthouse though.

Larry is close enough for "government work". Actually it is a concrete lighthouse I have out in my yard on the NC mountain (28906) that I brought with me from Florida (34986).

Current scores:
Larry -26
DMancini - 17
Mombo - 7
T&J Abbott - 4

Man you guys are way too clever for me. Didn't even do the puzzle, just started looking on the web for a very high lighthouse. Searching led me to one in Mexico which stated it was the 2nd highest, that the highest was in Gibralter but that one's still only 500 something above sea level. I finally gave up thinking that it must be some obscure light way up on top of a mountain somewhere. Should have done the puzzle instead but then I probably still wouldn't have figured out the zips!
