"His" Lighthouses - 09/11/04 04:49 PM
Because of Title IX, we are required to provide equal game opportunities for both sexes, so here's the male version of "She" Lighthouses.
One post per person per day, as usual.

Mike,
Nice thought, but ...
Are we sure this one was named after Mr Hudson?
What about Mrs. Hudson and all the Hudson daughters?
What about the women behind the man?
Maybe this was a testament to her perseverance and good temperment while he was out exploring all the time?
I suppose history can tell us ... but you never know ...
(Seriously, though, good to see your post ... I have always enjoyed them ...)

The lighthouse was named after its location which is Hudson NY which was named after Mr. Hudson, but Hudson is also a male name as in Hudson Taylor the famous missionary to China in the mid to late 1800's.

Aw Mike,
I was just having a little fun ...
Of course Hudson can be a male name ... I mean, wasn't Hudson Hawk (Bruce Willis)one of the worst movies of all time?
We've "spoken" before. You were much help in planning a trip to upstate NY last fall and it was much appreciated. Posts I've read from you here and other places are always insightful. I know you are serious about your passion and will continue to look forward to your future posts.
I'm still kind of finding my way around here and do want to apologize if what I write seems a little off center. Some of you I know and the rest I want to know.
And when I say "It's not you, it's me," believe me ... it is probably me!
