NTFGame #23 - 12/07/01 12:11 AM

NOTE: We will conclude the 2001 series, (before starting the 2002 games)with the 12/27 game. Therefore the are only 4 more games in which to score points for this year. GOOD LUCK!!

Below is today's Light picture to be named.
Here’s a brief list of guidelines that will be used.
1. Every Thursday (usually after 6 pm EST) a new light will be presented, barring problems.
2. The light may be from anywhere in the world.
3. Request that we limit guesses to 1/person/day
4. A hint may be provided every day starting on the 2nd day.
5.I will keep/post the running scores, scoring will be by points assigned for difficulty (1-5).
6. Post your guesses to this thread.
7. Your input (please!) with photos ENCOURAGED and appreciated, acknowledged when used.
8. Rate this a 4.

Current scoring as of 12/5 is:

sweetpshirin - 20
Derith - 19
SThompson - 11
Mombo - 8
Jchidester - 7
T&J Abbott - 7
Oseabee - 5
Ladybug - 4
Gebbyk - 4
Larry - 4
Chesapeake Byron – 2

Download this week's game here:
www.lighthousekeepers.com/games/NTFG_23.exe

Once you have downloaded the game, just doubleclick on the exe file and start the STANDALONE VERSION. Remember, that solving the puzzle isn't by any means the end - you've got to use the completed puzzle as clues to figure which LH it is.
But of course, you can't win the game until you solve the jigsaw puzzle.

Right click on puzzle pieces to rotate them. Move them together and if you are right, they will stick together.

A note from Tom & Joyce:
You may have given this one way too many points. A simple search in Google for "boat eater + lighthouse" brought up the Lighthouse Digest article, w/picture as the first item. Just didn't get a change to work it until this morning. Oh well, maybe next time.

Thanks for taking the time to create a really fun game.

Re: NTFGame #23 - 12/07/01 08:24 PM

After seeing Diane's answer, I went to www.google.com and entered "Boat Eater Lighthouse" and it came up on the first page of choices. Like I said above, I was working on mixing the "Boat Eater" letters around trying to figure out what foreign word and what language it would work out to be.

Oh, well. Good one, George.
