Derith, that last light you posted is also known as Low Head Lighthouse. Not that it's been posted, just thought this page showed some neat pictures, etc. of the light.

Byran, that one's been posted, in Part X.

Here's just a little stinker.

Whew! Thought I heard the sound of the buzzer!
The additional info and photos are very interesting. Thanks for posting them for us. Now, I have to find one for today....I am trying to beat the clock as I have to be at work in 30 minutes.

I think you meant Nolsoy Island Light Derith. (We need all the possible letters we can get at this point, ha!) The Faroe Islands are in the N. Atlantic between Iceland and Norway. They belong to Denmark.

Thanks Bryan. Didn't have an "N" handy and I was too lazy to look for one! Where's Derith? Did you steal all her stamps? wink Too bad Paul's pooped out on us. Way back when, when I asked if we should quit he said:

"We have only begun to fight"
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going"
"Don't fire until you see the whites of their eyes"
"Give me lighthouses or give me...."

And the answer is??? Derith's mother-in-law passed away last Thursday and my husband and I made a trip to NC for the services. We arrived back home late Monday night. You can't get rid of me with the buzzer, and you can't get rid of me with "did you steal all her stamps", and you can't get rid of me any other way.....I'm here for the duration. So....when I have time, I'll find a light and post it....even if it's already been posted....

That one's made me hungry. Think I'll go eat!
By the way Derith I was sorry to hear about Jerry's mother. Please pass along my sympathies. I'm off tomorrow for the re-lighting of Isle La Motte Lighthouse. Hopefully the winds will not blow us away. Tonight some areas near here are expecting gusts 50-60 mph. Hope those hurricanes stop coming!
