Sorry, Bryan, but I used Utklippan Light as the 6th response in the first thread. I am working on an alphabetized list of all of the lighthouses that have been used so far. I am going to include links to a webpage for all of them also. In the meantime we are still looking for a lighthouse starting with a “U”.

My alpabetical list has been a good tool for making sure I don't repeat lights that have already been used. Boy, I have a lot of lights to visit.

Elie Ness Scotland
Posted By: Nana

Re: International Lighthouse Name Game, Part III - 03/22/01 03:21 PM

Back on March 1st, when I was confused about this game, I posted Elie Ness. But, looking back, the next entry did not use the last s so I guess it was not an acceptable entry. Paul and I seem to be posting at almost the same time each morning.

Derith: You used the e from Race Rocks and Paul used the s. Either was acceptable but Paul responded first so that gave Elie Ness another life! Just hit refresh before posting if you two are going to continue meeting like this!

Re: International Lighthouse Name Game, Part III - 03/23/01 03:09 PM

This is the best site I have found for translating not only words but also whole webpages at one time.
http://world.altavista.com/

When you click on the translate bar you get the menu as in the image above showing you all of the combinations of languages that you can translate both from and into. At the top of the image you can see where to click if you want to translate a whole webpage all at once. You just type or paste the address or url of the webpage in the space with the http:// space provided and then click on translate.
