Thanks for your kind words Derith! However, Brian posted that light as "Iron Pot" in Part VII. So it's back to "O".

Derith,

fyi, here is the answer to your question. How to get into Guinness Book of World Records

Re: International Lighthouse Name Game, Part X - 06/07/01 06:07 AM

Neat Brian! First you translate one of the 85,000 lighthouses in Japan and then you give us the rules. I like this one:
Quote:
We suggest that medical attention, appropriate to the event, should be available at all times.

I am not going to be able to post anything new until at least Monday. The motherboard on my laptop is fried and needs to be replaced. Unfortunately, everything I would need is on that computer, including my lighthouse database and my email. But, the good thing is that I won't have to pay for the motherboard since I still have a service contract on my laptop.

PS After the next message from Sue, I went back and changed the light...I had posted Egmond, Netherlands before....hopefully this one is legit! It's not on my list as having been on before. My list needs to be checked again for ones I have listed against the ones that have been listed......

Sorry about that, I had been working on the "K" and when I went to post... I saw that Bryan had beat me, so I just took a quick glance and it looked like it ended in a v not a y on my laptop screen.

It would seem that things have been slowing down just a bit in Part X. Once we reach 50 posts, would you like to continue? What say ye?

Torchie, we ain't dead yet! 3/4ths of us were a tad busy last weekend in Chicago and Bryan probably took a day off to wash his car or some other fool thing! If you're sick of us hanging around your "Nothing Doing" forum you could always cruise us over to another one!
